Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my order?

All of the items in my shop for now ready-to-ship (unless stated otherwise). 

We will ship your order 3-5 business days from the time you place your order. If the order is placed after 5:00pm PST, then that time will start the next day.  Weekends are not included in those days. Once shipped you will receive tracking information. Shipping estimates are approximate and sometimes may take longer.  All orders are shipped via USPS with tracking numbers sent directly to your inbox. If you’re waiting for your order and haven’t received a tracking number yet, please check your junk mail before emailing us. More often than not you’ll find your shipping confirmation email there with tracking information.

Do orders include insurance?

All our orders are shipped most often by USPS, and occasionally by UPS. Dolly quilts will ship by USPS First Class (no insurance). Standard sized quilts are shipped USPS Priority or UPS Ground unless you pick an even faster service. Both UPSP and UPS include up to $100 insurance.  Once an item is shipped and issued a tracking number, Second Stitch to the Right cannot be held liable for lost packages.  If you would like to add additional insurance to your order, please email us at hello@secondstitchtotheright.com before placing your order so arrangements for additional shipping charges can be made.  

Do you send out shipping confirmations with tracking once an item ships?

Yes! As soon as an order is packaged, I print the postage labels and an automatic email is sent to the email entered at checkout. It contains all shipping information as well as tracking numbers. Please check your junk or spam folders if you don’t see yours. Also, what you see on your USPS tracking information is exactly what I see. If you have questions about your package in transit, talk to your local postmaster or call 1-800-ASK-USPS, they have much more information than I do and can help you accordingly.

Do you offer combined shipping?

We do not offer combined shipping, meaning we cannot combine the shipping on multiple orders.  

Can I add another item to my order?

We are unable to add items to existing orders. You would have to place an additional order. We do however refund excess shipping charges to orders placed on the same day, but going out in the same package.

I’ve changed my mind on an item I was getting. Can I switch to a different one?

Generally speaking our orders are final. However, if you would like to change to another quilt of the same value please message me and I'd be happy to switch it out!

I bought something and used a discount code.  Can I return it?

We’re sorry, but all discounted items are final sale.

I live internationally. Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship worldwide.

You’re sold out of an item I want. Do you offer pre-orders or allow backorders? How do I know if you will restock it?

If an item is out of stock, we generally with not restock until our "next quarter". Our stocking dates are as follows: February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st. If it is going to be any other time outside this schedule, I'll be announcing it on social media, primarily on Instagram (@secondstitchtotheright) or sign up for a notification to email you when that item if back in stock (a link can be found on each product’s page).
